William Guinane is an intern pursuing his Bachelor of Architectural Studies from the University of Waterloo in Canada. He has experience working on educational and institutional projects that respond to the harsh and changing climate of the Toronto area. He strives to create spaces inclusive of all people and believes context-based and human-scaled design is the only way to achieve this.
William enjoys all aspects of the design process with a particular interest in the translation of designs into built objects. Solving the problems and opportunities that arise through this process is often a driving factor in his work and he hopes to learn more about how this applies in projects repurposing historical architecture during his four month internship.
