In the north of Amsterdam at the NDSM wharf, an old metal works factory has been converted into a contemporary art gallery space. The site operates as a meeting point for various figures in the art world, both domestically and internationally, through hosting collaborations, exhibitions and events. Frosted glass walls allow for diffused light to enter the gallery space, making the space not only suitable for displaying art but also allowing visitors to enjoy a comfortable and natural environment. In this way, the design has been kept deliberately restrained in order to showcase the art and have the architecture operate as the supporting act.
